The operating principle of hydrodynamic cleaning is based on the use of cutting properties of a water stream which by cutting a deposit layer produces overpressure between the deposit and the base thus separating each other. A high-pressure water stream hits the surface with the ultrasonic speed transferring its condensed energy and hence reaching even the most difficult to access places. In particularly difficult situations, the pressure exceeding 1000 bar is used. Water released under such pressure can cut concrete, rust, hard epoxide and ebonite coatings, limescale, etc. Special nozzles in combination with abrasive material can even cut steel. There are certain applications where the hydrodynamic method is particularly recommended, or even irreplaceable.
